Fear

Fear is crushing.
Fear takes the air out of passion.
Fear removes the purpose out of pushing.
Fear takes the color out of beauty.
Fear destroys dreams.

It points its wicked finger at insecurities and feigns failures.
God reaches in. He whispers, “do not fear.”
Not because it’s wrong.
Not because it is a sin.
Not because it doesn’t have its purpose.
He draws you.
He pulls us to Him.
He takes us from alone in to His presence.
He puts us in a place where fear finds weakness.

Near Him,
the enemy has no voice, no rights, no authority.

Next to Him,
our passion is energized and our purpose becomes His.

With Him,
dreams move from darkness to light.

The fear that choked is replaced by the air that gives life and hope and promise.

We inhale the grace sufficient.

“AND I AM CONVINCED THAT NOTHING CAN EVER SEPARATE US FROM GOD’S LOVE.  NETIHER DEATH NOR LIFE, NEITHER ANGELS NOR DEMONS, NEITHER OUR FEARS FOR TODAY NOR OUR WORRIES ABOUT TOMORROW- NOT EVEN THE POWERS OF HELL CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD’S LOVE.  NO POWER IN THE SKY ABOVE OR ON THE EARTH BELOW – INDEED, NOTHING IN ALL CREATION WILL EVER BE ABLE TO SEPARATE US FROM THE LOVE OF GOD THAT IS REVEALED IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.”

ROMANS 8:  38-39
