Climbing

Let’s stop being tired.  Let’s stop climbing.

The journey begins and ends at the bottom step.

The stairs get their glory on the way to heaven.

Let’s seize where we are at.

The talents God has given and the trouble He has allowed.

The people we embrace.  The places we frequent.

It is here He has us.  Here He has chosen to write our story.  If we lean in we can hear His voice. When we look up, let’s look only for Him, not where we are going or where we have been.  It is here where life begins and grace takes wing.  

Let’s stop looking for the next thing and hold on to what is.

He has equipped and prepared and chosen.  Let’s hold on to Him.  Let’s create beautiful here. Let’s look deep for what He can do in where we are.  Let’s witness glory.

Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10
